Guided by experienced instructors, students will sculpt a low relief sculpture of their own creation in clay, make a resin bonded sand mold, cast aluminum, and clean up the casting with hand and power tools. Students will be supplied with all materials and tools to create their sculptures. Be as creative as you like; sculpt your pet, a geometric design, the scene in an old photograph, or make up a fairy tale! Day one we will concentrate on sculpting and mold making, and day two will be geared towards pouring and chasing the aluminum casting.
