Bring your own or use our patterns to make useful and artful objects such as drawer pulls, light switch plates, bookends, door knockers, door stops and more. Participants will learn two-part sand molding, melt aluminum, or bronze and pour that liquid metal into the molds. Finishing techniques will also be covered.

Casting Process Video

Instructor: Bob Rogers is an engineer with industrial casting experience. He has been doing small-scale bronze and aluminum casting at the Museum since the mid 901’s and helped to set up the Lawler Foundry.
