MIG Welding is sometimes described as the “hot glue gun” of steel. This eight-hour class teaches you to safely operate a MIG (wire welder) and ARC Welder (stick welder). The Smithy staff has assembled an inspirational scrap pile of shapes and sizes of steel for you to create creatures, critters and anything you can imagine. For health and safety, please let the shop staff know if you have a pacemaker or internal defibrillator.

Please note: All Metal Museum welding classes are taught as introductory and hobby classes. Students will be introduced to various welding techniques and taught to safely use a variety of welding machines. These are fun hobby introductions and not certification classes.
